  • The Registration Associate (RA) is the very first contact patients have with Priority 1, and because of that, they “set the tone” of the encounter as well as any future contacts with the practice. RAs are responsible for greeting and registering patients, and also answering questions both in person and over the telephone. Answering telephone calls includes providing information about the practice, managing records requests, and directing calls to other staff members.

    Registration associates are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall environment of the office lobby, working with other members of the team to ensure exam rooms are reset/restocked after a patient is discharged, handling packages and deliveries, and providing specimens to lab couriers.

    Overall we look for people who possess strong outstanding customer service, communication, and critical thinking skills, are excited to support the company’s goals and objectives, and have a positive can-do attitude!

    To become part of the Priority 1 team as an RA, the basics you'll need include:

    • Being detail-oriented and a great team player

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for performing all duties required to safely and efficiently work in a progressive acute care setting. The RN must Have the ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bending and twisting, and standing for up to 8 to 10 hours daily. The RN is instrumental in maintaining the flow of the clinic by greeting patients and performing other basic intake duties as well as answering medical inquiries and appropriately directing telephone calls. The RN will also work with other members of the team to ensure the facility is cleaned and stocked as needed. We are looking for someone who possesses outstanding customer service, strong critical thinking skills and is excited to support the company’s goals and objectives.

    To become part of the Priority 1 team, the basics you'll need include

    • Valid NYS RN license

    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills

    • Basic computer skills with experience using electronic health records

    • Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols

    • Strong venipuncture and intravenous placement/therapy skills

    • Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality

  • The Radiologic Technologist (RT) will be responsible for the diagnostic digital x-ray imaging process to allow for safe and competent diagnosing of the patient. The RT ensures the highest quality images are obtained for each patient and must be able to effectively explain the type of study ordered by the Provider to the patient. In addition, the RT will take part in maintaining the flow of the clinic by being able to use the electronic medical record, handle front desk duties, perform basic medical assisting and assist with cleaning and stocking.The RT will Have the ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bending and twisting, and standing for up to 8 to 10 hours daily.   • Priority 1 Urgent Care is dedicated to managing moderately complex health problems as well as the more routine cases commonly encountered in typical urgent care settings. P1UC is looking for an excellent per diem physician. You will join a growing team dedicated to the success of a dynamic new company, working on the cusp of the nation's most popular health care practice model. Your clinical experience will help to enhance the patient experience and instill comfort in the practice of medicine.

    Our medical staff members must be comfortable ordering and interpreting a variety of diagnostic tests such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and point-of care and reference laboratory tests. You must be equally proficient at performing a variety of basic therapeutic procedures such as incision & drainage, wound care and repair, foreign body removal, and primary orthopedic injury management.

    To become part of the Priority 1 team, the basics you'll need include

    • Current and unrestricted New York State Medical License

    • Current and unrestricted DEA Certification

    • BC/BE in Urgent Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Medicine-Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery

    • Current BLS and ACLS if not EM BC

    • Current with relevant NYS CME licensure requirements

    • No board sanctions or actions in the past 10 years.
